There are many different types of heat exchanger available, the three main types that
Shell and Tube; Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers consist of a large number of small tubes which are located within a cylindrical shell. The tubes are positioned into the cylinder using a tube bundle or "tube stack" which can either have fixed tube plates (permanently fixed to the body) or, in the case of Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers a floating tube stack which allows the tube bundle to expand and contract with varying heat conditions as well as allowing the tube bundle to be easily removed for servicing and maintenance.
Plate Type; Plate Heat Exchangers operate in very much the same way as a shell and tube heat exchanger, using a series of stacked plates rather than tubes. Plate heat exchangers are usually brazed or gasketed depending on the application and fluids being used. Their compact stainless steel construction makes them an ideal choice for use with refrigerants or in food and beverage processing.
Air Cooled Heat Exchangers are a type of heat exchanger design commonly used in mobile applications where a liquid coolant supply isn't available such as automotive and construction vehicles. As the name suggests, air cooled heat exchangers provide a cooling solution for fluids using air which is driven through a fin core by an electrical, hydraulic or mechanically driven fan. Air Cooled Heat Exchangers can be supplied to cool a single fluid, such as engine water, or a combination of fluids as part of a cooling pack which can often include 3 fluid circuits cooled by a single fan.

We offer a wide range of Air Oil Standard Heat Exchangers. These heat exchangers are suitable for the situations where electronic controls works at a high temperature that is drastically different from the environment. In cases like this, these exchangers are used for dissipating heat from inside the enclosure to outside temperature. mOur oil to air heat exchangers have a closed loop design, which effectively circulates the air through enclosure and cooling unit for aintaining the required enclosure air temperature, without outside air contamination.

Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers are a simple but effective type of heat exchanger, consisting of a cylindrical shell which contains a bundle of tubes. In most applications the hot fluid flows over the outside of the tubes and the coolant flows through the tubes exchanging the heat between the thermally conductive materials used in the heat exchanger design. The flexibility of the design means that shell and tube heat exchangers provide an ideal cooling solution for a variety of Marine, Hydraulic, Rail, Industrial and Leisure applications.
These exchangers are used to cool down hydraulic oil or other fluids in general. The range includes a wide selection of models characterised by high efficency. The types of material used allow you to obtain a truly reliable product
